Hi, Its the mad season. Everybody rushing around doing their last minute shopping. It is very noticable, that there seems to be fewer holidaymakers in the False Bay. It is reported that the West Coast and the Garden Route is packed to capacity. I spoke to the owner of our local SPAR, who tells me that turnover is down big time, however, the sales of liquor at the TOPS is unbelievable. So much, for all the dont drink and drive, and liquor kills, campaigns. Drunkeness is rife and sirens are howling.
Last Sunday, we met Morris and Maria at Canal Walk, so that the girls could do their shopping. The centre was like any other Sunday. We spent a lovely Sunday together and rounded it off with a great seafood ,late , lunch at C>T>F>M>.
I got a call, yesterday, from my friend, Walter Vroegop., in Holland. He tells me it is below zero there and he wishes he could be in SA over christmas. His dreams of a White Christmas looks a reality. I dont think the likelyhood of that happening here is possible.
Maths and Bianca, Marc and Bianca B are all still very much in love as is Matan and Liske judging by all the Hearts flying around on Facebook. Sometimes I think they are all playing cards, plenty of cards with Hearts being the main hand.
We are going to visit Valerie later, at the home for the AGED. We will be spending Christmas with Tommy and
Anita and the boys. PP1 is still in SOUTH Korea and will be returning on the 1st February, which means, mwah will be making the salads. New Year, will be spent with Morris and Maria and we will celebrate New Year at a restaurant called ONS NESSIE in Melkbos. The Boys and there girlfriends and SPOUSE will be visiting the Big UBs on Sunday afternoon. I am looking forward to spending time with all the family except PP1
over the next two weeks.
My cat, LASKALA, brought home her first little bird yesterday. When I say little I mean TINY. The little dead bird must have fallen out of a nest. Oh, she was so very proud of this prey.
Well, till next time toodledoo and BOYS , DONT DRINK AND DRIVE. SEE YA.
